The Professor Friedrich Becker Society is committed to preserving and maintaining the artistic legacy of Friedrich Becker. One focus of the Society’s activities is the presence of his oeuvre in the Düsseldorf cityscape and the promotion of young artists in the field of gold- and silversmithery. The Professor Friedrich Becker Society was founded under the aegis of his wife Hilde Becker, who wished to preserve her husband’s artistic legacy for posterity. The Society’s current chairwoman is Heike Kappes.
